About the Event
Dr. Marny Eulberg is a polio survivor (class of 1950), a mostly retired family physician, and a Rotarian who is committed to polio eradication in the world. She founded a post-polio clinic in1985 and has seen over 1500 polio survivors since then. She has been on the board of directors for Colorado Post-Polio Organization for over 30 years and on the board of directors for Post-Polio Health International for about 25 years.”
Dr. Eulberg and her sister both contracted polio in 1950 and was hospitalized for six months. She left the hospital wearing a left leg long brace using two crutches. She has had a total of 7 orthopedic surgeries to correct problems related to polio. Her undergraduate degree was in clinical laboratory technology and attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, graduating in 1977 with honors.
