Dr. Hannah Wunsch is a Distinguished Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is widely known for her expertise in intensive care unit (ICU) organization, long-term outcomes after critical illness, and the use of large-scale data to inform health policy and clinical decision-making. Her writing has appeared in The Globe and Mail, TIME, and the Literary Review of Canada, among other publications. She is the author of the book, The Autumn Ghost: How the Battle Against a Polio Epidemic Revolutionized Modern Medical Care.
