About the Event
Dr. Malhotra is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.
Her clinical work focuses on helping patients improve function, mobility, independence, and quality of life after serious medical conditions and treatments. She has specialized training in cancer rehabilitation medicine and works closely with patients to understand their physical challenges and create individualized rehabilitation plans that support their goals and daily lives.
Dr. Malhotra will be speaking with us about the role of rehabilitation medicine in supporting people living with the long-term effects of polio. Her talk will focus on practical ways to promote strength, safety, function, and overall well-being.
